We were recommended this pest solution by a friend who is also building a house in Malaysia. Though we haven’t used the treatment yet, it’s fantastic as there are no poisons that are put into the ground which can seep out later, especially in our tropical climate. What’s more, the treatment doesn’t actually kill the termites! The troublesome bugs are actually repelled away from the house. NAD

Hey there Greenpeople! Read about your website in the Today newspaper this morning and really impressed with your dedication & determination towards building your green home! Keep it up!

Couldn’t help noticing this post too coz I was in the construction industry before switching to interior design. As far as I know, a while back, the chemical-free anti-termite treatment market was monopolised by Termimes. Hence, the price was not very competitive. A few years back, a local company brought in an alternative, Alterm which uses a similarly chemical-free process (there’s probably some difference in the material & process used lah…..I’m not a very technical person, I’m afraid) but at only a portion of the price! If you wanna, can go check out the website at http://www.alterm.com.au/ It’s an Australian website but there’s a Singapore distributor.

Yes, if you are wondering, I do know someone in Alterm! Hahahaha! But you dun have to believe me! Just go check it out for yourself lah…….just wanted to give you an alternative!

    Cheers!
