Nadya Hutagalung is perhaps the best-known face of the green movement in Singapore. An eco-activist and designer of eco-centric jewellery, this former MTV VJ is not only building an innovative environmentally friendly home, she’s also creating a community of passionate environmentalists called Green Kampong.

Tay Lai Hock, a self-proclaimed “Kampong Boy”, loves to get his hands dirty. He’s the founder of the Ground Up Initiative, development director of the Kranji Countryside Association and the Singapore head of LOHAS Asia.

Together Nadya and Lai Hock will share ideas about how to create a kampong spirit in a modern city and how as a community we can take action to ensure environmental sustainability.

Date: Tuesday 15 June
When: 7:00 pm
Where: SCWO
Address: 96 Waterloo Street, S 187967
