When people lead, leaders will follow.
Copenhagen has become Hopengagen in an effort to start small and end with a big impact on global sentiment towards global environmentalism. The people of Copenhagen have openly adopted measures to make the city more environmentally friendly on several fronts. The hope-in-hagen is that other nation will follow by example. We think it’s a monumental statement to the the governments of the free world in raising the global green consciousness.
It’s not about “why”. The question should be what can I do to help.

Hopenhagen is a movement, a moment and a chance at a new beginning. The hope that in Copenhagen this December – during the United Nations Climate Change Conference – we can build a better future for our planet and a more sustainable way of life. It is the hope that we can create a global community that will lead our leaders into making the right decisions. The promise that by solving our environmental crisis, we can solve our economic crisis at the same time.
Hopenhagen is change – and that change will be powered by all of us.
WHY ACT
Change will not happen unless the people demand it. That’s why Hopenhagen exists – to give you a rallying cry and the tools to demand a positive outcome in Copenhagen. Signing the UN Climate Petition is only the first step. We need your help activating Hopenhagen in your communities, so the movement grows. This needs to be a people’s movement, with enough people involved that our leaders can’t ignore it.
