Sow the future
To encourage people to be eco-friendly, the discovery of the possibility in using natural fibers in lingerie has allowed Triumph to produce its line of natural cotton lingerie – Ecochic. Ecochic signifies the need to be eco-friendly and to be able to create fashion in a way that will be beneficial to the environment and at the same time, offer consumers extreme comfort and non-allergenic benefits when wearing it.
The theme for the new Ecochic range is “Sow the Future”. There is a well-known verse, “You reap what you sow”, which means that if you prepare for the future now, you will definitely stand to gain from it. The theme also represents the desire for building tomorrow through fashion. In order to provide a nature loving way to care for oneself and the planet in comfort and style, Ecochic serves to remind consumers that you can be fashionable in an eco-friendly manner by using natural and sustainable materials in its production.
By presenting Ecochic to the public, Triumph hopes that consumers will strive to lead an eco-friendly lifestyle and yet, still be able to stay fashionable.

Triumph has come up with 7 eco-pledges to encourage people to care for the environment with ecochic.
One Action a Day Pledge
1. Switch off the electricity at the mains. (Mobile Phone charger, TV, Radio, DVD player, PC, Laptop, Modem etc)
2. Bring your own bags to the grocery store. Given a choice between plastic and paper, opt for paper. Paper takes 2-5 months to degrade while plastic takes 500-1000 years.
3. Use natural products such as vinegar, lemon and baking soda to clean your home, rather than toxic laden household cleaners.
4. Turn off the water tap while you brush your teeth, soap yourself during showers or washing the dishes. By keeping the water running you are using approximately 9 liters every 60 seconds.
5. Use an electric fan instead of the air-con. If the air-conditioner is needed, set the temperature to 25 degree celsius.
6. Do full loads of laundry and set the rinse cycle to “cold”
7. Don’t buy bottled water. Use a re-usable bottle to bring your water out. Single-use bottled water requires much more energy to produce, store and transport and barely 20% of those plastic bottles end up getting recycled, and most are made out of petroleum. Use filters if you are concerned about your local water supply. Buy a reusable bottle to take with you on the go, so you can always refill it from a tap and avoid buying bottled water. Stainless steel is a good choice, because you don’t have to worry about the potentially toxic chemicals that can leach out of many plastics over time.
