The world can be powered by alternative energy in 20-40 years, Stanford researcher says

A new study – co-authored by Stanford researcher Mark Z. Jacobson and UC-Davis researcher Mark A. Delucchi – analyzing what is needed to convert the world’s energy supplies to clean and sustainable sources says that it can be done with today’s technology at costs roughly comparable to conventional energy. But converting will be a massive undertaking on the scale of the moon landings. What is needed most is the societal and political will to make it happen.

    I’m living in Singapore where Solar energy from the Sun is in abundance.. I bought a solar charger from Solar-Monkey on an overseas trip, it costs me nearly SGD 200 but doesnt work at all!.. i later found it has to be charged under direct sunlight (not indoor through glass windows) but when i left it in the sun for a few days.. the case around the solar panel actually melted! and still i could not charge any equipment with it.. any recommendations on portable solar fans or chargers that really work? I would appreciate some recommendations on where to get them and cost of the charger, thank you!

    sorry to know yrs problem like being cheated. just get through internet solar section it give you various type and advice even price at lowest. u know in our road side there solar notice as there corner in front yrs way…. it just small solar divice on top the road signal so it power to singal all day n night. get down to JB town ask to electrical shop that help u or in singapore u know that price different? bye from maj. hamzah
