in the kitchen, you can use lemon juice to clean the fat / oil that spilled when cooking.
use baking soda to clean the toilet, with a sow and allowed some time in the toilet, then flush with water.

In my country, the state of Indonesia, a lot of utilization of wastes such as dry waste and wet garbage into articles suitable to be used or a new energy source. dry waste from packaging such as detergent or packaging of plastic wrap or aluminium foil into a mat, flower, or a woven bags, canned milk into a pencil case or a vase, etc. are very good in view and is useful for reducing environmental pollution. Likewise, a lot of wet waste materials used as organic fertilizer, in if the gas for cooking energy source and illuminate the home.

You can also use vinegar and baking soda on almost every surface.
if toilets or sinks are stained you can put vinegar soaked towels over the surface and leave for a few hours followed by good a scrub with some baking soda.
