Capt. Charles Moore of the Algalita Marine Research Foundation first discovered the Great Pacific Garbage Patch — an endless floating waste of plastic trash. Now he’s drawing attention to the growing, choking problem of plastic debris in our seas.
Out of sight may be out of mind but it’s a horrible way to live. Human garbage is being trapped in the world’s oceans If you watch the video, you will shocked at the quantity. Perhaps in 100 years when space flights are commercialized, outer space will be the next dumping ground. Instead of shooting stars, there will be orbiting garbage dumps.
